1. Introduction
BooART uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep the website secure and usable. Some cookies are necessary for features such as language choice, cart, checkout, and sign-in. We use analytics only after you have given consent.
This policy describes the current Vendure and Next.js website. It is therefore aligned with the current storefront instead of the previous website.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage. In this policy, we use the word cookies for those similar browser storage technologies as well.
3. Which categories do we use?
Necessary and functional cookies
These cookies are needed to run the website, shop, account area, and security features. They remember things such as your language, cart, and session. We place these without separate consent.
Analytics
If you accept analytics, we measure page views and purchases through BooART's own analytics endpoint. We store details such as page, language, referrer, a random session id, and limited order metadata such as total amount and currency. We use this to improve the website, not to build advertising profiles.
Without analytics consent, the storefront does not create an analytics session id and does not send page views or purchase events to our analytics endpoint.

6. Third-party services
Google Sign-In loads only on pages where you can sign in or register with Google. This is a functional authentication service. If you use Google Sign-In, Google processes data under its own privacy policy.
Videos load as YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds only after you choose to play them. Before that, we show a thumbnail only. Social share buttons are regular outbound links to services such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, or email; BooART does not place social media tracking cookies for these buttons.
Payments use payment providers such as Mollie during checkout. Those payment environments can use their own cookies or storage once you enter the payment flow.
7. Deleting or blocking cookies
You can delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the website, such as cart, checkout, or sign-in, may not work properly.
